  • Is a S corporate meeting document a legal document in court showing the price agreed on sale of business?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under corporate | 1 Comment »

I was in a business with someone else she agreed to buy my 50% of the business. A week before we settled the sale she told me to get the hell out of the business and that it was my problem because I wanted out of the business. She had made a verbal agreement and also we had dicuss a price at one of our corporate meetings. We are now going to court and I want to know if I can use this corporate paper as evidence in the trial.

Because you discussed a price, that does not mean in and of itself that she agreed to purchase it from you. In order to enforce that, you’ll have to prove to the court that she agreed to purchase your half of the business. If she doesn’t agree with that story in court, it’s going to be your word against hers, and absent of any proof (a written agreement or her admission that she had agreed to purchase it), it’s not likely the court will find in your favor.

Lately I’ve been having some problems in my marriage. I’ve talked to my husband about some of the stuff, but some things I don’t know how to approach. And even the things I do try to talk to him about, he just acts like he doesn’t want to talk and doesn’t take me seriously. do you think it would be childish of me to just write him a letter to tell him exactly how I feel>
I have suggested marriage counseling, but he doesn’t think we need to go

Kick him in his nuts and tell him "we need to talk"

How can communication help companies to build its brand from inside out ?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under communication | 1 Comment »

To build a successful brand, a company needs a good communicator to build its brand from inside out. It should have a clear internal communication strategy to help and train its people to have enthusiasm and energy to deal with customer, supplier, regulator, the media and each other.
So internal communication is a useful management tool to companies to grow.

in addition, when communication flow is good inside the company more ideas are generated and more creative approaches are discovered.

What letter in the English Alphabet is pronounced false and why?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under letter | 9 Comments »

Perception vs Con-ception: When i wuz (was) of the age 14 i
learned that the meaning of the word Alphabet does not mean or implies in any way 26 letters but only two. What would be those two letters and why? The English Alphabet pronounces one letter for what it iz (is) not, even when you perceptionally see the letter for what it should be pronunced yet we do not pronounce it in any English word. Why iz that?

It is the lettter W. It even sounds like another letter. hint hint.
alpha beta. alphabet. Greek. Those are the first two letters A and B. Even in Hebrew it is aleph, bet . And W looks like a double V not U. But I think that is because it was not in our original alphabet. The ancient Greeks did not have a U.

How does a stock market begins to fall from bull market when there is enthusiasm and optimism everywhere?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under market | 6 Comments »

Like in the bear market starting 2000, what caused the bull market to start falling suddenly when there was optimism, ALMOST in everyone. I am not concerned with a certain bull market, but any general one is ok.

What’s happening now is short-term B.S. caused by an inexperienced Fed Chairman, and mutual funds (growth portfolio’s) unloading holdings at the Dows all time high a few weeks ago. Every investor has a trigger price. They figure out what price to buy and what price to execute a sell trade. Great investors buy great stocks when the price is low and sell when the price is high, then buy the same stock when the price is low. This is basically what’s happening now.

The same thing happened in 2000. Smaller investors got burned at the expense of smarter and bigger investors. Smart investors new that companies in 1999 were trading 200 to 400 times there earnings, however people kept buying. They (smart investors) invested in these companies, let the money ride for a while, and started to sell off when the train started slowing down. Then mutual funds and institutional investors followed. They realized that tech company XYZ never made a nickel, but their stock price was selling at $200 a share. By the time this was exposed to the average investor it was too late. All that market was, was smoke and mirrors, and a lot of rich people got richer.

Inevitably, people control the market. There’s no huge computer throwing random quotes out. People decide the price, just like EBAY.

If your rich play the market. If your average, build wealth, and invest in mutual funds.

How do I find marketing people in USA, who will work on commissions-only basis to market for IT consulting?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under marketing | 4 Comments »

We are a 2 person start-up company. We have purchased a company with 10 years history, very good credit rating, and at zero employees, in NorthEast USA. Since we are tight on budget and are working as full time consultants ourselves, we are unable to market and expand the company. We were wondering if there are any websites/resources (besides posting an Ad on a jobs website) which we can explore to communicate to potential IT services marketing personnel in the NorthEast USA, to see if we can work on a commission-only basis initially. Once we start serving 2-3 clients and place a few consultants, we can afford to switch to a salary + commission option. This can be a great option for a marketing person who has contacts in the market but would like to work from home or work flex-time.

Registered for Texas sales tax, do I have to charge for private transactions?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under sales | 2 Comments »

I am registered for sales tax in Texas for a small mail order retail business.
Am I obliged to charge and pay sales tax for sales I make which are not part of this business, for example, reselling my own household items on ebay or craigslist?

In theory should every private person making these kind of sales be charging and paying sales tax? I know most people do not.

If you are selling your personal items, Texas proabaly has a casual sale rule regarding sales tax.

However, you better keep your business accounts and your personal accounts separate. If you start comingling funds, if/when you get audited, you will have a lot of explaining to do.
